WMG is taking down videos relating to the August 1983 show, maybe a sign?

If we do finally get an official release of this show, I'm sure we'll find out about it through several online publications before the estate themselves even bother announcing it on social media.

The estate doesn't need pseudo-fans putting up stuff they don't own, and trying to hide because "fair use" bullshit.

Seems like a good sign. Before the NYE 87 show was released, they removed all previous copies on YouTube. Also seems like the title is the official name they'll use for the release.

Lol, yeah, maybe I'm thinking too deeply into it. I do wish that show would get a release in the future, though. They probably have to spend time cleaning it up, like Syracuse video-wise.

The work on it has been done for a few years, it's ready to go as a blu-ray.

Hopefully whatever is preventing it's release will be cleared up before the PR SDE comes out so it can be included. Or get its own release. That would be fine too.

The best timing was obviously to release it in june, to coincide with the anniversary date, and benefit from free promotion from various media outlets.

I don't think the month of the anniversary really matters at all.
