Yesterday I marbleized a bedroom for an interior designer. She loved it so hopefully she recommend me for her jobs.

wow! what did you use to get that effect? plastic?

a friend of mine uses a feather, but obviously you used another tool.

with colors you used, kind of looks like veins through flesh.

still very cool, though.

It's awesome, love the color...you haven't been on in awhile.

I used a glaze (1/3 H2O, 1/3 Waterbased Poly, 1/3 Paint) and color washed the glaze with a 3" brush on the walls, then modeled it with a damp t-shirt. The first color is Benjamin Moore "Fuchsia" and the second it Benjamin Moore "Stuart Gold". It took 7 hours.

The "Fuchsia" color is a Ben Moore color matched in Martin-Senour paint provided by the owner (her kitchen is painted that color but it's much, much darker when used as paint, I used it in a translucent glaze)- both are great paints, Ben Moore is better but much more expenise. The "Stuart Gold" is Ben Moore paint that I picked up at Ben Moore- I used it as the final coat, it's eggshell finish and has a beatuiful sheen. My personal favorite paint- great quality, good price- is the Behr product line at Home Depot. I love it and I've used just about every brand out there. If you ever have any questions about paint products, I'm your man. I used to work in a paint store, 2 actually, many many years ago- so I've sold it and I've used it.
