I'll check it out (I guess it's on tonight). She was excellent on Letterman the other night. Dare I say I like her?

Ive always been a Martha Stewart fan. I never understood all the nasty feelings that some people have had towards her. She is an outstanding American success story. She's smart and ambitious and I appreciate qualities like that. Its gonna be a good show. We get to see more of what shes really like in the board room. Maybe I can learn something.

This shows ending is amazing. When she pulled that piece of paper, I was like...."What the fuck?" and than she started writing and the monolouge. Three words: Funny as hell!

She said on her new daytime tv show that her prison mates called her "M. Diddy".

Jeff, the project manager got the boot last night. I love the way Martha fires these people. She politely lets them know that they didnt meet the various challenges by saying, "You dont fit in." Next, she writes them a handwritten letter on her own stationary stating why she fired them. Shes so fuggin fabulous! lol

i missed the premiere, so i'll catch it next time 'round. but dreamfactory313, i do have 1 problem with M Diddy. i was watching her show about 4 years ago. she had a guest cook, nice italian lady. they were making lasagana, i do believe, and M had the nerve 2 tell this woman what went in2 her ( italian bird's ) sauce. what kinda crap is that ? i wish somebody would tell me what i put in my sauce. other than that, M is great

She's got her manners DOWN--she even writes the fired guests a "thank you" note!! It totally fits!

I'm glad Jeff got the boot, he was not a team player and EVERYthing had to go his way. But when it came time to lose, he couldn't admit it was all his fault.

it's an awesome show!! frustratingly slow at times but really good. smile season one is on DVD if you want to catch up but...they do so many flash backs that I'm sure you could jump right in. Basically...plane crashed, survivors on an island with weird stuff happening. lol

Its basically the same sorta set up, except Martha's challenges have to do more with her company, Martha Stewart Omnimedia than the real estate stuff that Donald is focused with. Martha's company is more lifestyle driven. Her prosepctive apprentices have backgrounds in the business field as well as the creative fields so they gel together to help create a Martha-esque sorta vibe when it comes to executing ideas and having them be really profitable. For example, this week, 2 teams had to open a flower shop. They had to renovate a space in Manhattan, choose what kind of flowers they would sell and develop a business plan for success. Matchstick loss for the 2nd straight week. Theres this dude named Jim that can't seem to get along with this particular girl. He tried to get rid of her but Chuck all but handed in the towel. Chuck got the boot. I dont know, alot of u may disagree with me, but there is something about Jim that I like. He is a bit bitchy though.

I truly believe there is something VERY wrong with that man. He has absolutely zero impulse control and has an obsessive, angry, vengeful personality. There is not even one redeeming value to him that I've observed. He makes for "good TV", but I think he's shown that he is unable to work well with others.
