I've only read one of the old Sandmans, and that was long ago. I do, however, have all of his novels and a few of his other graphic novel stuff.

I'm for sure a fan. Particularly when he does anything with that one artist I can never remember the name of who did the Punch and Judy book with him. God, why can't I think of the name!?! That would be "Mr. Punch" , drawn by the stunning Dave McKeane

My absolute favorite author, and an amazing comic writer to boot! American Gods is one of my favorite books EVER, and Neverwhere isn't far behind. He never ceases to amaze me. I wouldn't even know where to start if I wanted to read a comic. I do appreciate the artwork greatly though. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

I love the old Sandman comics!!! His short story, "The Wedding Gift" or "Wedding Present" (can't remember the name) gave me a shiver. Coraline was a cute read as well. "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the present." --- Oogway

Not really into any comics from a reading point of view, but his artwork is outstanding. The only writing of his I've read completely is Good Omens - funny as hell, but hardly hardcore Neil Gaiman fan material. All those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand...

He doesn't do the artwork on his comics. He's the writer. Do not hurry yourself in your spirit to become offended, for the taking of offense is what rests in the bosom of the stupid ones. (Ecclesiastes 7:9)
