Man, The Sopranos on 5/7 was Horrible!

I just watched it on DVR. Such a bad episode. What was the point of it? That life is boring? This season was going great until now.

Did anybody like it?

I need to know if Vito has found happiness in a small New Hampshire town.

what was the vision that Paulie saw at the Bing? was that Adriana? I was glad when he went back to his mother, I was so tired of him cursing her like that, poor woman!

Chris damn that made me sad, I liked the whole nodding scene, the music etc that was cool.

I have had enough of Phil---he needs to go. Do you think Carmela bought Tony's explanation about Ade?

I don't think she even believes that. It's just what she tells herself so she can go about her day.

nod yeah she is just going to go along with it for now, but naw she doesn't believe Tony one bit. She just doesn't want to argue with him.

Paulie was getting on my nerves...he's always blaming or making others lives like hell just because his mother wasn't who he thought she was..oh boo hoo...

As for Chrissy, i think he keeps sinking lower and lower because he still can't handle the fact that he killed Adriana, well he didn't physically kill her, but he had her killed because he couldn't do it himself....that and the fact that i think he still loves and misses her.

I think Phil is going to double cross Johnny Sac unless he gets out of jail really soon.

I just want to see what Vito is going to do next week.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Did you like the episode, though? I thought it was the worst of the season.

I think it would be cool if Vito gets away somehow.

Yeah, see, I think they're trying to lull us into believing that everything is calming down, showing how bored Tony and Chris are (and has anyone else noticed how much wine Tony's drinking? hmm) and then next week--BAM! They're gonna hit us with some stuff.

Janice is sooooo pathetic, isn't she, with that neck brace? rolleyes She and Paulie would make a great couple.

Horrible?

ok, I haven't seen it yet, having a hard time finding it for download this week.....But, on the Sopranos message boards that I frequent (i.e. The Chase Lounge: http://p098.ezboard.com/bthechaselounge) they are raving about this episode.....lots of stuff has been covered.....also good that they got back to the Adriana-thing.....

I still have to watch.....and there will be a big bang for sure!

every season so far has had that yet ended strong.....and in january the last 8 episodes will come.....the very last! Chase is going to bring the whole Sopranos-thing down, it will not be a happy ending.....I heard there are a lot of references to Godfather 3.....damn it, that download is taking too long! (see, here in Holland they've just ended showing season 4 on tv, I can't wait that long!!)

I didn't like seasons 3 & 4, but this season has been probably the second or third best. I don't like it when they hit you over the head with how boring their lives are. That's not what I watch tv for. Here I am. Entertain me.

Actually, it is what I like about this show.....eventhough we all have sympathy for Tony, we must not forget that we are talking about the scum of the earth. As far as I have heard, this episode shows how shallow the relationships within the family really are: the flashback of Tony & Chris in the basement about the Ade-situation (Tony is frisking him for wires), Carmela's ignorances to the fact that her husband is involved with murder so she can live on her posh-life..... There are no good people in this show, and Chase is letting us know.....the Sopranos are heading for a major downfall, can't wait how it will be.....best show ever!

I've heard Chase say this in interviews, too. But seasons three and four are really bad televsion, imo. There might be an episode or two that was great, like the Paul/Christopher in the woods ep, but overall, the writing fell sharply in those seasons.

I don't agree, maybe season 4 was a bit of a let down but all of the seasons have been consistent.....you've gotta remember that the show is a 'soap-noir' instead of an action-series, it's easy to forget because it features the mob. The writing and especially has been superb.....and yes, there have been some fillers....

Well, the first season was one of the best seasons for any tv show ever, imo. It's tought to match up to that. Especially when you don't have the whole reason for the show existing in the first place(according to Chase)--the mother.

not really, he was the friend of Tony's dad.....but yes, it would be cool to see him more again! I loved the episode with the orthodox jews (Series 2?) where Tony called Hesh in the middle of the night asking him what to do with the guy..... eek

That was season 1. He also had the music producer episode(might've been season 2). He was in alot of those early shows.

HAHAH, but that's what makes his character SO interesting. He never was respectable. He NEVER kicks up to Tony the way he's supposed to. How about when he sniffed Adriana's panties?!? I can't get enough of his stupidity.

But I loved the panty sniffing. Hell, I'd do that.

But the way he's treated his mom and her sister(whichever way you wanna consider them) is just wrong.
