I gotta admit, though, that I did like their explanation of what the button-pushing did...and what happens when it's not pushed. I wasn't let down by that one... nod..And I REALLY loved that the button not being pushed is what caused their plane to crash to begin with. It kinda bitchslaps Locke with that reality...lol..."So you think pushing this button doesn't do anything, huh...well it cause your plane to crash, ya toehead! Your dumb ass wouldn't even be here if that button had been pushed!".. lol

But then they have to explain the observation station with the two chairs and the Orientation video that says these are all just expirements. hmm

The fake experiment was the Pearl Station participants.

I thought Desmond more or less explained it when he said to locke that maybe he had it backwards, and that it was the people stationed in the Swan hatch that were the experiments, not the other way around...

Eko got it right on. I think that the obviois clue here was the cameras wathing the watchers.

But the tube leads to a field where their reports are just ignored or discarded in a giant pile of nothin'

If they're epxeriments, it still makes no sense sigh

Sure it does. THAT was the testing station...the Skinners box... Not the Swan Station as this season was leading us to believe.

You know how the orientation film talks about the "incident", and why the button must be pushed every 108 minutes to keep it from happening again?...When Desmond was too late pushing the button, the place went nuts and he caused flight 815 to crash. The "incident" must have been something similar, but much worse (I imagine anyway)...do you think the show will try to connect some real-life event to the "incident", something from around the time the orientation film was supposed to have been made?..

nod world war 2 I think because they say that's when the foundation started and the Jeep tie in ads look like they are from that time period.

While the twin thing is always possible given a few other clues... There is not technically a 'different name' as Libby is one short version/nickname for Elizabeth.

no. What you are cluing into is on online "game" called "the lost experience". Basically every week for the past 4 have had a hanso commercial towards the end. The premise, I suppose is you find out a lot about the people behind whats going on. You should check it out, it is quite facinating.

I have a feeling something will happen in the season premiere - another plane crash might seem a little hacknied, but somehow I bet new people will have been brought to the island.

I've been thinking about the finale pretty much non-stop since I saw it on Wednesday - man, this show is so well written. We still don't know anything about the Black Rock (slave?) ship, and now they're bringing in a four-toed statue - this is great...

cool Done...yesterday.

My favorite Sites...

Sledgeweb http://lost.cubit.net/ - Incredibly detailed site that is devoted to the "details" of Lost. They have sections listing out ALL the characters we have see, A timeline of events, A World Map, A section devoted to the Literature found on LOST, A Connections forum, And an investigations forum that pulls apart interesting details, describes them and posts screen shots of them.

The Tail Section - www.thetailsection.com - A "spoiler" sit. (they are good with spiolers and give you levels in which you decide how much you want to be spoiled), Normally get the promo clips we don't see here in the US, Brings all LOST news upfront, Before the episodes they usually have 2 min clips of what's to come.

Lostblog - www.lostblog.net - Just a blog site dedicated to Lost. The least informative of the 3, however you get the web masters "thoughts" on what's been going on. SOme news gets posted. I enjoy this site. It's pretty basic but the things he writes on are very well thought out and the ponderings are pretty right on.

Take a look at that face again - are you sure we don't recognize him? I'm not so sure one way or the other, but I'm sure it's intentional...

General Season 3 spoilers: SCROLL TO READ!!!!!

In addition to the two female roles, the show is also adding a new hunk. Descriptions are: Female, 30s, with leadership qualities. Female, early 20s, very attractive. Male, Latino, early 20s, handsome, mysterious quality. These are some of the "background" survivors that Carlton Cuse said would emerge next season.

Next season will be about the Others, as led by the oblique Henry Gale (played by Michael Emerson, who will join the regular cast). Mr. Cuse listed what viewers will learn about the Others by this time next year: "Who are these people? How many of them are there? What is their history? What are they trying to accomplish?"

Fans were also introduced to a new character who promises to figure in next season's storylines: Penelope Widmore, played by Sonya Walger.

The next season is a lot about the Others. There's a lot of mysteries about the Others that we'll be getting into next year. [We will see more of Alex next season.]

Chances to see Ana-Lucia in flashbacks are] slim to none, according to Carlton [Cuse]. "Never say never, but we feel like we told her story," he reveals. "Her arc had a beginning, middle and an end." "You will [eventually] find out what happened to Cindy,"

Harold Perrineau is not a regular for next season. He could be back as a guest star (à la Walt this season) but not as a regular cast member.

Michael Emerson (Henry Gale) is returning next season as a series regular.

Libby's got this mysterious backstory, of which we've only given you the tip of the iceberg. We know she's spent some time in the mental institution with Hurley, and the idea of killing her before she had an opportunity to explain how she got there... we have a master plan for how we're going to tell that story, but it's all posthumous. You'll start to learn Libby's moves through flashbacks over the course of the next season. So we're not done with Cynthia, but Libby is dead.

The growth of Malcolm David Kelly (Walt) will be addressed in the 3rd season. You can expect to see more of Rousseau next year, but the story of the wrecked research vessel, it will be coming at some point but we can't guarantee it'll be in Season 3. We'll be introducing new characters in Season 3, so you'll be getting fresh flashbacks. You'll probably see fewer flashbacks of our original characters as we begin to move toward certain inevitabilities. You will learn more about some of the other survivors next year.

I disagree. I think that knowing that someone is looking for them is going to be a neat arc. As we have yet to find out what's going on in "real time" off the island.
