I don't usually hang in the GD Forum, but I *had* to respond. I have a Basset, too! Her name is Betty. Her nickname is "The Queen". (taken with my phone, sorry about the quality)

lol. we have an old lady in the neighbourhood and she's got this
ancient basset. when you see them walking together it's like you
hit "slow motion" on the dvd player
