GERMAN COCKROACHES. WTF??

They're like a cross between a lady bug, and Mothra---Godzilla's nemesis.
I have a neighbor down the street who has several of them in his house, and I'd swear you'd think somebody was sanding down drywall with all the scurrying around.

Do you have any cockroaches in your house? I don't think I'd like them in my house, but at least they don't spray everything with cat urine.

Oh, and Hi Anx! wave

Not when you live in Florida. I just danced with one outside last night with a broom in my hand. Oh wait - that was a palmetto bug. He was flying about when I tried to peacefully to get him to move with my broom. mad

I will not miss roaches of any kind when I move.

One of those motherfuckers got on me last night! Those bitches are out here in Cali in full force. I didn't even know it was on me. I turned around and saw some brown shit on my shirt, then it registered in my head "That's a gotdamn ROACH!!" I flipped the fucking script in that kitchen. If I had asthma, i'd be dead right now.

Why are those "German" cockroaches? Is that a name for them in other countries, like "german shepard"?

ok, honestly, though I would get grossed out at having to handle a cockroach, I'd freak the hell out over this thing.

ok, SERIOUSLY, the fucking waterbugs i dealt with in NYC were exactly HALF the size of that thing. the first time i saw one was at my first job in the break room and i stood in a corner and screamed for someone to come back and kill it. i was like a little girl and i'd act that way again and be damn proud of it. disbelief

and i don't know if cockroaches and waterbugs are "the same thing", but when i lived in new york, waterbugs were those big fuckers and cockroaches were the nasty little amber things that would pop up in apartments if you didn't constantly clean and bugbomb your place. that's just the names we used to differentiate between the two.

Indeed we do have a few in this old house. But not that many. O_o I don't think. I dunno. I've seen long ones, short ones, babies, and one fat one. They all gross me out equally.

They do not look the same.
If it weren't for the sharks, boas, water moccasins, and alligators, waterbugs would be numero uno on my list of scary ass critters.
