recommend me a new tv show Keep in mind, I'm picky. It's not that The Joker's gay. What he is, is Batsexual. He'd be whacking it to Batsy whether our hero had girl parts or boy parts underneath that rubber.

I pretty much hate most modern television, but there are a few shows in your list that I enjoyed quite a bit (Buffy, QAF). One that I really enjoyed that has unfortunately ended is Six Feet Under. Five seasons of excellent drama and great characters. One of that show's stars (Michael C. Hall) is the lead character of a new show that I enjoy called Dexter. It's quirky and silly, and although it sometimes tries too hard, I find it very entertaining. Once upon a time, in a deep dark forest, an old woman, tappin' her toes...

Hmm. I tried to get into Dead Like Me, but lost interest after about 6 episodes. [Edited 9/29/08 0:38am] It's not that The Joker's gay. What he is, is Batsexual. He'd be whacking it to Batsy whether our hero had girl parts or boy parts underneath that rubber.

The best show ever. I fucking love it. Watched a few clips on Youtube. Looks alright. It goes in the Maybe pile. It's not that The Joker's gay. What he is, is Batsexual. He'd be whacking it to Batsy whether our hero had girl parts or boy parts underneath that rubber.

Completely funny is "Samantha, Who?", a series starring CHristina Applegate, who plays a bitch of a woman that went into a come for 8 days and then wakes up without a memory. So she does not remember she used to be a bitch and has to pieces the remains of her past life together through trial and error.

Applegate is one of those few actressess that does AMAZING comedy. Subtle, often, but therefore the funnier. Totally adore this series. Thanks. It's not that The Joker's gay. Hmm. I tried to get into Dead Like Me, but lost interest after about 6 episodes. [Edited 9/29/08 0:38am] Six Feet Under is also very quirky. I found that it taught me a lot about death, and it was quite important viewing for me after having experienced so much of it! I came out of it feeling better educated, better adjusted, enlightened, entertained and moved. One of my favorites! Dexter isn't quite as good, but I think it found its feet in the second season. I can't wait for the third! To give you a better perspective on my taste so that you can take my opinion in context, I tend to like my TV (and movies) to be quirky, weird and atmospheric. I tend not to like comedies unless they are dark comedies (Freeway, Pink Flamingos, etc.), but I do have a rampant romantic streak. Some aren't. Romance tends to bug me, not for the romantic angle but because so much of it is so poorly done and over-the-top. It's not that The Joker's gay. What he is, is Batsexual. It's not new at all, so you propably know it, but I would recommend House. I watch it like an addiction. I guess it is. Angel: the Series No love for Firefly? You could try Pushing Daisies. It was probably my favorite new show last year. It's hard to describe, but it's interesting and fun. My favorite show ever is NewsRadio. I have all the lines memorized and it still makes me laugh!

My favorite show on the air right now is MAD MEN. It's about a 1960s NY advertising firm. Fantastic acting, writing, music and fashion. It won lots of Emmy awards this month. You can rent season one on DVD and season two currently airs on AMC. There are only 13 episodes per season so it won't be that big of an investment time-wise.

![]() LOVE that show. I like how it really tries to keep within the time period it's supposed to be. This is especially apparent in the way that the secrataries act...esp Peggy. The actors who play Don and Betty also do a great job in portraying how people acted back then. Some of the dialogue is a bit too "now" but that is very seldom. This is my favorite new show. My other favorites that are new... Pushing Daisies & Breaking Bad. This is my voice, My weapon of choice

Like in the first season when Midge told Don that her and her beatnik friends were going to get high and listen to some Miles Davis. You know they were talking about 1959's Kind Of Blue. I wanted to hear that album right then and there. Another good scene was when the staff was at a bar after work and someone put on "The Twist" in the jukebox and everyone went crazy.
