Where are all the single folks? Alright so I live in the top single city in the U.S., so why is it so hard to find a date? Ok, maybe being at home 50% of the time doesn't help. Yet, it seems these days that guys are more timid or holding out, at least the type that I would think fit me. Overall, I think it's harder for heterosexuals and certain personality types like introverts especially in the SF Bay.

You know what they say about arguing on the internet… It’s a lot like running a race in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you’re still retarded. | |

This is my greatest fear as a single person:
Would you like to marry me?
And if you like you can buy the ring I dont dream about anyone - except myself |

I'm ok with that. As long as I get visitors and they take me out once in a while. And I have an ocean view ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

I try to be a cool uncle but I'm not relying on that for the future. For that you need the sheer emotional guilt that only a parent/child relationship can enable. Uh, what's happening CC? Yeah right, c'mon over. How is it on your side of the Bay? I'm thisclose to convincing myself that I am going to end up like the cat lady. I'm used to being single, so it's not that I can't handle that, but it would be nice to have a prospect or two out there. ThreadBare said: And, message to all the single ladies: Please stop wearing weird rings on your wedding ring finger. It's hard enough not trying to be conspicuous when checking that hand but to find something that is a weird ring just throws a brother off... Where was I? Ah, yes. Oh, and I hate to say this but I think the numbers in that article are even more dire. I mean, it looks like they counted all single people and didn't subtract for age, sexual orientation, race, having too many gatdamn kids, being on paper, unemployment, overweight, or unattractive. Just sayin, it's actually much worse. [Edited 10/6/08 22:56pm] "Panamama bringing tha drama, dancing to tha beat!" - Prince

For that you need the sheer emotional guilt that only a parent/child relationship can enable. Or a huge inheritance to wave over their heads. It's a shame I never became rich. I knew it would come in handy!! Wait - you're single? Marrying you would get me that Irish passport. I'll bring the booze and sleeping pills! Would you like to marry me?
