CarrieMpls and I (and 2 friends) are heading to London on Thursday! We actually land there the morning of June 20..



Our plans are to be in London on Friday (June 20), spend Saturday and Sunday (June 21 and 22) in Manchester, then back to London Monday and Tuesday (June 23 and 24) before heading off to Glastonbury...

So, do any of you UK orgers have any tips for us?

Any clubs we can't miss? Any hip museums? Any grubbing vegie-tarian restaraunts?

In London we'll be sleeping in the Soho area, in Manchester we'll be about 5 blocks off Canal Street...

any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I think there's a good veggie fast food place called Red Star...they are dotted around the place...mostly vegan food i think...if your headed for a commercial clubs try Equinox, Hippodrome, Tiger (Bar), Sound, (all in Leiscster Square) and also Ministry of Sound (make sure it's not a student night or u will hate it)

oh, dont 4get the British Museum

I will be in London June 20th (which you know about!) and I live in Manchester!!! Orgnote me!

U defo go to the Southbank (waterloo station on the tube) there u will find teh saatchi gallery-county hall, the london aquarium and the London eyeball. It is supposed to rain Saturday, but what the heck. Take a walk along the river as far as your little legs will carry u and u will find lots of more fun things-Tate Modern, Tower of London Greenwich etc.

Brick Lane has some cool bars (whitechapel station I think) 93 feet east and vibe bar usually get it going on and if u r in 2 funky house etc Ministry of sound has to be heard! (sat better night if u ask me!)

nice tapas place on Eversholt street (mornington cresent tube) you could go there it is 2 secs away from Camden
