I've never really sat down and said,"All right I'm straight. I like girls". It just seemed natural so I went with it.

I take it on a person to person basis. I consider myself "straight" but there have been women I was attracted to. You are drawn (or at least I am) to a person's spirit, their vibe, I don't think about much else. my

When I was younger, I read in one of my mothers childcare encylopedias that homosexual tendencies were normal, and just a phase, by the time a child turns 18, these feelings will pass. I went through puberty knowing I was attracted to men, but waiting for the attraction to go away. When I was 20, I moved to the city, met a man, and fell in love. I no longer could deny who I was, and I felt guilty for hiding it, so I came out. Needless to say, I have always known I was gay, I just spent a lot of time waiting for it to go away.

I have known since I was 4. It wasn't sexual at that age but I had all the feelings and emotions that I do today. I always felt attracted to boys. I always felt comfortable playing with and relating to girls. My inside has never changed.

As I hit puberty, my arousal was towards boys. It has only ever been that way for me. That leads me to believe I was born gay and not conditioned to it.

i still don't know what i am...

Well I was fucking this guy, and this girl walked by, and I got all excited...

I'm still celibate.

some of my earliest memories are my attraction to men on TV and dressing up in my mother's shoes and nightgowns (though i'm not transgender )

I knew I was straight when I was about eight years old, I remembering being at my grandmothers house looking out the window watching all the boys walk by as they got out of school saying out loud, 'oh he's cute"

Personally I felt cheated out of developing into my persona for a long time. No holding hands with cute boys cuz it wasn't an option. Grwoing up gay in a heterosexual world can be quite limiting every now and then. My little nephews are growing up with a gay uncle and to a certain extent biased parents. But I know at least they have the option to consider there are other ways than the heterosexual stereotype. If there is such a thing. I have found out that straight peeps are just as perverted and lowdown as gays. Gays are just more honest about it.

Then I realized I probably wasn't ready anyway. I am a late bloomer in almost everything.

I had teen crushes on girls, then I started also being attracted to men and thought I was bi in my late teens, so it wasn't until my early twenties that I actually started to consider myself gay. By then, I was only interested in other guys and men.
So it was a gradual development for me.
