Leave it up to the National Enquirer, which has broken stories before, to take this one head on. Edwards was visiting his mistress the other night (her baby was in a nearby room) in L.A. and got snagged by some Enquirer reporters. Well if it's only in the National Enquirer, I guess it'll be on Fox shortly. Can't wait to read about the half man/half baboon baby the Obama's keep hidden and don't want us to know about. UPDATE: Fox News has independently confirmed the NATIONAL ENQUIRER'S exclusive report about John Edwards' late-night visit to the Beverly Hilton hotel earlier this week.
The ENQUIRER reported that Edwards arrived late Monday and was confronted by our reporters while trying to leave via the basement at 2:40 a.m. Tuesday. His mistress Rielle Hunter and her baby had checked into the hotel and Edwards was secretly visiting them. Now Fox News has confirmed with a hotel security guard that Edwards was at the hotel and confronted by our reporters. Fox says that Edwards asked the guard what our reporters were saying about him. The guard told them that Edwards' "face just went totally white" when the guard told him our reporters were asking questions about Rielle Hunter. Fox also confirmed our information that Edwards was not a registered guest at the hotel and that security escorted him out after our reporters' attempt to question him. Now instead of say "some people" Fox can say " The National Enquirer" says... Join the antithesis of the org conservative union!

So IF he was indeed seen at the same hotel as this woman last week, at that time of night, it definitely looks odd.
Plus everyone wants to act like because it's the National Enquirer automatically means there's no truth to the story. They've broken a LOT of news stories that the mainstream press was slow to get wind of or didn't want to acknowlege. I heard about this last week and just like last week, I still don't care. EVERYONE lives in a glass house and I am sure there is stuff we do that we don't want everyone knowing about.
