It is irrelevant, to me, either sign is offensive, the fact is that it is her child, how many parents can say that their child of that age has never made a sign or said a curse word or done something inappropriate? The issue to me is that this is some sign of bad parenting and used in a smear campaign. I know that i would be pissed if because my child did that i was accused of being a scumbag, kids need constant guidance and re-adjustment, just because Palin is being photographed 24-7 people think she is fair game.Fine, it is funny, but it is no sign of bad parenting and her status as a scumbag.
