As fickle as Prince can be, will he ever tire of it, or better still (subjectively speaking), will he go back to mainstream Christianity??

The real question should be "Will Prince leave the JWs or will they kick his ass out?"

I don't care what religion a bitch follows, as long as they keep their cakehole shut when they get the itch to preach to non-believers. Do all of Prince's songs have to have a fuckin' Bible reference now?

and if they don't have an obvious Bible reference it's like they have such a tone of self-righteous, condescending superiority to them. I'm glad for Prince if he feels he's 'matured' now and is above certain behaviors or whatever but guess what, we all get it Prince, that you're MARRIED now and are MONOGAMOUS now and DON'T SWEAR ANYMORE (cuz that's nasty and immature) and are a 'real musician' now but lighten up, man. You don't need to keep convincing everybody of all that by continually ramming it down people's throats via your music.

Prince is visibly smiling more than ever these days. I'd say he's definitely lightened up since the Symbol era!

I'm talking about in his *music*, though.

But yeah, he physically now seems less uptight than back in those days, I agree

Frankly, I don't see a huge change in him overall. He goes back and forth like this... He was all smiles and open during the Parade era, too...

Who cares? It's his life, not yours. People really have a problem with individuals being spirtual. Get the fuck over it.

Yes, I do Believe he Could Very well Fit into Buddism if the Jehovah's don't fit him anymore. What were John and Yoko? And George? It was the MAHARISHI and is that Who Richard Gere is Always Seeking? Anyone Know?

Gere is into the Dali Lama (spell?) george and the Beatles were into Transcendental Mditiaiton, I believe. george followed Eastern beliefs (I believe Buddist) and followed Mararishi Mahesh Yogi (another spell challenge!) smile

Prince changes his mind a lot about this stuff. Remember when he got on the spiritual high hourse around lovesexy. Any how about all the Mayte forever propaganda around emancipation, even after the horrible tragedy with the child, he was still claiming they were soul mates on Oprah

He'll be singning head and darling nicki in a few years

Gere is WAY into the Dhali Lama. I am not sure that John and Yoko actually followed a particular religion - but George continued to follow Eastern religion/philosophy from when the Beatles spent time in India with the Maharishi... I don't mind that Prince is of a particular faith - that's his business afterall... but I agree with Zelaira, he would make a fine Buddhist

3 words: I HOPE SO. I think Prince will tire of the same retoric after awhile. He gets bored easily, especially when it starts limiting his creative ability when it comes to art.

In my opinion only! Feel free to disagree!

Prince has always seemed to me a leader instead of a follower. Spirituality and Religion are not the same. We follow religion, but we lead our spirits. Everyone has to do that whole hit and miss thing (no matter what their age), before they get it right.

No Mike left of his own volition. They objected to him singing Thriller on stage or something.

As for Prince, i didn't think it'd last, but it has. I keep waiting for him to slip up and swear onstage (i'm 100% sure he said the F word in Manchester '02) or sing some old risque lyrics by accident.

lol
