Is it safe to ask if anyone has an extra ticket? I was late on the pre-sale, and I understand that it's now sold out. Did anyone have an unclaimed ticket for sale?

Everyone was suggesting Ninfas, but I looked and that is one mile from the venue...we were hoping for something within walking distance...so this is what I found:

Lucky Inn Restaurant: exactly one block down.

Fuseleir Cajun Kitchen: two blocks down

Cafe R Us: one block down

Everything else is probably 6-8 blocks away. Do we want to go that far? I thought it would be easier to park at the venue, then walk over and eat...what do yall think?

I would prefer walking distance but now i am not sure i should chime in since I am riding in with someone else and I really don't know what time I'll get in. Sooo that said, yes it would be easier for ME if it's close then I won't have to work so hard at finding yall wink

see I thought that since we were meeitng before will call and such, it didn't matter if we were a mile away and had to repark. But I'm game for anything, I've never heard of any of those... I'll drive by there today and see.

driving sounds ok, my only concern is that if they are to slow at the restaurant (specially being a friday), we may not get there before the box office opens...i sure wish we could find out if they have different lines for members and tickmaster customers.

they have a second( Bus) across from minute maid...which is closer to the Wharehouse and it serves food...I been there several times before astros games...if the Wharehose is behind the GRB, then its walking distance.but whatever is cool ,I dont think I am going the wharehouse till 11 or so you can see great from everywhere and I dont how long I feel like standing...

warehouse live is 3 blocks from minute maid park, and it's just across 59 from the george r. brown. you could walk to a bunch of restaurants/bars right there around minute maid park.

if you have not been there, being that it's only been open two weeks, you're in for a treat. i saw the academy is....show there, and it rocked. excellent sound system and a great house light show. whatever you do, get your tickets at 8 and get into the line for the building. the line will be long, but the club does a good job of passing everyone thru security quickly. if you are over 21, have your ids ready at the door..... so the doorguys, who i've dealt with at other clubs, can get you in as quickly as possible.

do not bring any cameras, backpacks, weapons (duh?), chains, or anything that will jeopardize your place in the long lines. i know this because i had a backpack on for the show last week, and i wasn't allowed in with it....i didn't care because an intimate, safe concert environment is what we all really want here in houston.....

lets all have fun at the show.

place since you do LIVE there! I think if we all want to
meet each other bad enough..... everyone will show!
The last 3 places u mentioned sound great since they
are only 1-3 blocks away!

So here is what I found thats remotely close in walking distance from the place.
Hung Kee Restaurant
0.06 mi
| Rating 8.4
To Chau
0.06 mi
| Rating 8.5
Lucky Inn Restaurant
0.06 mi
| Rating 7.

The only place not asian is the cajun place ---- But owned and operated by asians and is located in the asian mall.

So with this said - if everyone wants to be on the safe side and monitor the incoming audience --- then asian food is our best bet. eek ---which isn't that bad and is fairly cheap for our fellow prince fans attending college and that are sacrificing eating a decent meal for a couple of weeks in order to actually attend the event.( feel free to take care of my portion of the bill- No shame in my game - I DO take handouts )

wink lol

And while I’m here …
I’m not understanding why UFOCLUB is not just inviting all of us into his pimpin’ dope palace for a seven-course meal before the show. Come on now … Just one night, you can’t open your doors to your fellow prince orgers ???

Ok, we have got to make a decision. You have two choices:

Ninfas (one mile, so you should drive)
or

the Cajun place (2 blocks, u can walk)

Yall PLEASE tell which you prefer. I am narrowing it down because I am fairly certain these places will serve alcoholic beverages, whereas most asian restauants dont. Give me your responses so I can contact other people, especially those coming from out of town!
