Will Smith Kicked out of Prince Show Hope this wasn't already posted.
Apparently the Fresh Prince didn't have $80 in his wallet. Poor Jada. From the New York Daily News 3/18/04 MONEY OR NOTHING: The artist forever known as Prince likes to muse about his spirituality, but he's all business when it comes to hard cash. Movie star Will Smith was among the celebs who were expecting to be let in free to Prince's postmidnight concert at the nightclub Black after Monday's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame gala. The club even reserved a table for Smith and his posse. But I hear that when the actor showed up at the door in the wee hours Tuesday, Prince's reps foiled the staff's attempt to escort him inside. Either Smith had to cough up $80 a ticket, or he couldn't come in, Prince's reps insisted. I'm told that a highly annoyed Smith left. I hear that some media types and other celebs - including Alicia Keys, Chris Rock, Puffy Combs, Lenny Kravitz and Sean Lennon - were lucky enough to be snuck in through the back way. | |

I have a feeling that Will Smith is one reason why Prince has had a certain dislike for Philiadelphia, cos Will Smith is from there and Will Smith and Prince have a certain dislike for each other!!
I remember once at an awards show, Prince was in the audience and Will Smith was presenting or had received an award or something and this was at the time of Fresh Prince Of Bel Air and Will Smith proclaimed that he was the REAL Prince!!!  | |

Oh puh-lease. Will Smith should not be treated what way????-- Ya mean like a normal person who has FAR LESS money than Will F**ckin' Smith!? I can't stand these celebs who make (and by the way, in NO WAY deserve) more money than God, yet are "annoyed" when they're expected to pay for something like a concert or what-not. Personally, I woulda liked to see Prince shove one of his plexi-glass light up heels up that "fresh Prince's" ass...twice! uh. | |
