Mauve is on tour....hmm
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I followed the first 18 shows of the Lovesexy tour from MPLS through to Atlanta back in 1988. It was a great experience, but I doubt I would do it again.

shocked
I'm sorry, I don't get this at all...psst, it's the same show.

ONA I saw 4 times, the last 2 at the celebration, which were forced upon
me...I was pulling my hair out with the disappointment of not hearing anything
new. After the first 2, I'll get bored...I bought tickets to each of the Detroit
shows, but doubt that I'll go to the third.

I know I'm a purple phreak. Believe me, I get reminded every day at work. To Revolution.... I know that even looking at set lists it may appear to be the same show, but it's a different city/different crowd/different energy level each time. (Except for Chicago of course.) But I have been taking a different person to each concert so far and will continue to do so througout this tour. I have seven siblings and I took one brother to Cleveland (HUGE Dave Matthews fan but reluctantly admitted it was the best concert he has ever seen), another brother for St. Paul, and taking a sister to the Denver concert. Chicago will be a mix of friends and coworkers that I take to concerts. So I am basically making Prince converts along the way as well as having great times seeing cities I have never been to, meeting incredibly nice people, and scoring fabulous seats. These shows are my vacation this year, just spread out over 7 months. And it's worth every penny. biggrin
