It's like any database-->crap in=crap out. If you put negativity & BS in, then that's what you'll get in return. You have to admit, a lot of people on NPGMC dogged the Org & HQ quite a bit. And now well....karma has a strange way of working, I guess... At any rate, don't give up on the Org just yet. It's really quite fun, once you get accustomed to the sarcasm.  The check. I would guess that everyone has a Prince site the they feel more/most comfortable on--and I don't think it's any secret that many people did not feel comfortable/like the NPG forums because of the (perceived?) cliquey-ness and the "I'm more of a fan than you b/c I have x number of posts or have been a member since 2001" mentality. The hiatus/closing/demise/whatever of the NPGMC is the PERFECT opportunity for everyone to start with a (relitively) clean slate. BUT people who consider themselves NPGMC fams first and foremost shouldn't come to the Org or HQ with any carry-over attitude, just as those who identify themselves primarily as "Orgers" or "Quakers" shouldn't treat "NPG refugees" with disdain. To do so would only be stooping to the same level of 'cliquey-ness' that NPG forums were known and disliked for. 
ps. you can figure out my NPGMC name by looking carefully at my avatar. Exactly! This could work out great for ALL of us if we have the right attitude with all these changes. I'm expecting better than what we've gotten. Call me optimistic but I'd rather look in the positive than the negative. Prince and his crew isn't worth going gray over that's for damn sure. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that | |

oh I won't give up on the org. I've been a member here off and on for 2 years now. I have met a lot of really nice people here. The Cali get together last August was a blast and the Seattle invasion will be just as fun. Just tired of people complaining lol. And yes there were people baggin on the org at the npgmc. I wasn't one of them, I had too much fun here to diss it. I did take breaks from here and there and thank God for school because it takes up a lot of time. But I am once again I am home , and for those that have a problem with it? Get over yourselves this place is big enough for everyone
