3121 Log-In Problems - THE FAQ

For those of you having problems regarding sign-up on 3121.com, here's the FAQ.

Check the 3121/NPGMC Discussion forum regularly for any updates and other relevant threads.

We hope there is a better, more structured organisation behind the scenes with 3121.com than there was with NPGMC.

Keep us all posted of your experiences.

1. When trying 2 register I get this error: "Password length minimum: 7. Non-alphanumeric characters required: 1."
What am I doing wrong?

In order to ensure our users the maximum level of security possible we are requiring that all new registration passwords have at least 1 non alpha-numeric character. An example of a non alpha-numeric character would be "!@#$%^&*()_+". The easiest way to create an acceptable password is to integrate one of these characters within your entered password. An example of an acceptable password would be "pa$$word". Please also make sure that you entered password has at least 7 digits.

2. What is the "Card Verification Number (CV2)" and where do I find it?
The Card Verification Number/Code anti-fraud system was created so that if someone gets possession of ur credit card numbers they also need to have possession of your physical card in order to use the card.

American Express calls it the CID (Card Identification Number).
For MasterCard, it is the CVC2 (Card Validation Code).
Visa calls this number the CVV2 (Card Verification Value).

Visa/MasterCard:
The verification number is a 3-digit number printed on the back of your card. It appears after and to the right of your card number.

American Express:
The American Express verification number is a 4-digit number printed on the front of your card. It appears after and 2 the right of your card number.
