i'm digging it... it's a nice mix of his new style and old style... it's got that new jazzy sound that he's going for, complete with a very jazz influenced guitar solo, but he's rocking the linn drums and an ultra-funked out bassline... i like it... ...

Here's what I think the methods of that club should be..

Im not asking for 320kbps here, nor 256.. but I would assume (silly me) that a $25 donation from me would take care of any boot quality mp3's that are mono. Its the fact that he could give us this song is a decent quality the first go around, and not bribe fans for next year.. "hey! its in better quality this year!" or something along those lines.. Im tryin to not bitch here, I just wanna know the reason behind this.. Surley it couldnt be because of file sharing reasons, nor a scarce of someone not buyin his album, cause if the songs are good.. people will buy.. He's already got a solid fan base who pretty much buys everything he's touched, so why not give us a song in decent quality?

Ahhh...so this is why everyone is ravin about your shit huh? because you've done better? sure it is not his best song. but it is good. there is complexity. aside from the catchy hook, nice bassline, good rhythm guitar, rhodes, etc. i sincerely doubt you could duplicate anything or surpass on that song except maybe his casual vocals. his lyrics tell a story that i am sure a lot of people could relate to. reflection was a good song as well. and plenty of rainbow children tracks.

Meanwhile for all of you that are dissatisfied with the track, its quality, the club in general, feeling the loss of the $25, or disappointed about the delay on The Chocolate Invasion...Dip into his 80's catalog, or jam to some other musicians for a couple of weeks, then resurface. Maybe the Invasion will be available by then.

I think this may have been recorded during the "Rave..." sessions. Only because it is from the same 'return to the Linn drum and phased high-hat rhythm track vibe' from other "Rave ..." era tracks like "Juke Box Wit a Heartbeat" and "Props N Pounds". What a cool groove. I love it.

One of the problems Prince continues to have is that his past output of music is so amazing, his recent work pales in comparison.

Please stop criticizing up for complaining about this FACT OF LIFE! His work for the last few years has been uneven, and uninspired to say the least. It is a FACT that his new stuff is VERY WEAK compared to any of his old stuff.

For those who don't see that or don't want to, I feel sorry for you. Either you're a new fan with no frame of historical reference or you simply take everything the man does as a gift from god.

In all reality, most major bands working today treat their fans better, offer more perks and less frustration. I love P as much as the next fam, but when you have so many perfect albums in the past, inferior work is instantly recognized!

I'm not being hard on people complaining because they dislike the song, that's your opinion. You're free to like or dislike whatever you want. It becomes a pain, everytime something or anything is released by him, you have extremely picky fans, whom search far, hard and long for something to complain about. Even if the precursor of the release of the song is... " Meanwhile, something to chill to..."

I know alot of people spent their hard earned $, but sometimes I think we should give him a break. But that's jus my opinion...
