Anxiety

i don't know why people like myspace.com so much, when about 80% of what i got on that site was spam and the other 20% were complete strangers wHO tYPe eVERYTHINg LiKe tHIs sending me messages saying "wHUSSUp?!?!?!?ooOOOooOOOoo+-..."

i much prefer tribe.net - people seem saner there and the site is geared more toward actual conversation - kinda like the org, but not prince-centric.

Yeah, I had a personal page on it and got tired of guys sending me messages wanting to "get to know me better". rolleyes

So far for music it seems cool to network on there, although I havn't fully explored it.
I'll check out tribe.net biggrin

Yeah, I know... a friend of mine recommended I post my music on that site and I was kinda like... "I dunno..." Just another place to have your mp3s I guess... Soundclick is down once a week it seems.

OK, here are some groovy things I found (or that found me) on MySpace:

Interlude Magazine:

Your Music Network.net
http://www.myspace.com/in...0830063235

Vodka Radio

Second Spin

Since I don't have any radio ready music, I havn't contacted them any further. They actually added me to their friends list.

The two big networking sites are friendster.com, and myspace.com. Myspace rules all because there are SO many people on it, you can customize your profile, musicians can upload songs, list upcoming shows, it's easy to network with people outside of your city, post blogs, read forums, post pictures, and fans can leave you comments. Plus they sponsor parties, put out compilation CD's of myspace bands, sponsor a stage on the warped tour and more. I've networked with other bands to trade shows and gain fans. Almost all the bands are indie rock bands like me, so I like it.

I looked at tribe, but nobody I know is over there. Everyone is at myspace, that's why it kicks ass.

Now, go look at my profile for an example:

myspace.com/caryaria
