New Flashpointe Music: "Triune"

I think you will like this. The song is called "Triune". This is a funky and danceable "new funk to the core" song. I had the help of fellow orger "Grace" on the mix down of this, and orger Ben Stafford on some of the backing keys.

Let me know what you think!

Peace,
JD

Also, listen to the track that I sent to Dre to collaborate with me on. It is below "Triune".

Peace,
JD

Triune is a great track!

It's cool to hear you giving instructions and explanations about your collab with Dre! Feel like I'm watching VH-1 Behind the Music, lol.

Damn, I should have done some explaining like that when I sent Dre my midi files of Naked.
hmmm

"Truine" is cool... Reminds me of Cross the Line.

I wish I could get a piece in on that Army of 50 Clowns... I know the final result is gonna be bangin because I love what I'm hearing as a rough draft.

I love the New Wave synth on this, it's somehting i cannot do even if i tried only if i had got a sample.

This is very peaceful and very nice. It's just the Wave layers and keyboard track is so great! I dont know hwere u got those sounds from.. I wish i had em. The vocal arrangement is awesome man. I dont think it's a funk track, it's more of a experimental soul / pop jem.

This album is gonna be very cool. Cant wait to scan that damn artowrk..(how long has it been ? Lol Sorry sad )

Cool track, Jason, but why have you turned the vocals that much upfont? If you'd put the volume a little lower the vocals would mix better with the music. I think your actual vocals on this track are really good, I think you have grown as a singer. Gotta agree though with PP4 that it's more like a new wave/ dance track than a funk cut. But a decent effort nevertheless, nice collaboration with the other folks!
RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Hey everyone! Thanks for the very nice comments and feedback! Tal, I try to have a moving and positive influence on people around me. I try to get people motivated to make positive changes. Join the New Funk Revolution when you get time (it's in my signature below).

Bumper, the vocals are higher because when I had them lower, people couldn't understand what I was saying. My vocal effects machines are all external and analog, so there isn't much I can do beyond the manual tweaking and mixing. I don't have the $ to buy a computer or an external digital unit.

I moved "Triune" over to the EuroPop genre on soundclick. That was the next closest thing I could think of. Because the song isn't general pop or alt power pop, and it does have a Euro New-Romantic feel to it.

I'm still waiting on Dre to let me know what he thinks about the rough draft of our future collaboration. I can't wait!

Peace,
JD
