VinaBlue & Jem collaboration!

I'm sooo very excited about this! Tim Howard, a.k.a. Jem has graced me with his ever-so-groovy guitar playing. guitar Check out Entropy (Guitar Demo) http://www.soundclick.com...emusic.htm

It's still a demo because my vocals aren't quite done and I'm wondering if the song is tooo busy. I'm thinking I can double the length of it by thining out the parts. Too much happens at once, and sometimes I feel like I can't hear all my ideas, or they don't get enough space. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Tim, I hope you don't mind that I didn't run this by you before uploading it. Thanks again for puting this down and sending it to me. I LOVE IT! rose

Man, I would love to hear this. But it keeps giving me an error message. I'll see what I can do.

It sounds really great, I love the music, and its not too busy, not at all. I really love the guitar. I really think you should work more with Tim Howard. He completes the song. The Melody is good. Once again, the song is not 2 busy, i think you growing musicaly. Dont you thinks its time you form a band? I would really love 2 hear ur songs with real bass and guitars.
I know, its hard 2 find musicians who share your taste in music. But i think Tim Howard understands your music.

I gave you some real nice comments on your newest tracks... You didn't see my hint about adding some female vocals to Autonomous Man? Sheesh! There's only so much of me to go around, lol.

hug Janeau! Thank you for the feedback. YES, I would LOVE to have a band. Tim lives too far away. sigh I do wish he lived closer. I'd love to hear real bass and drums on my tracks as well. I was listening to Fiona Apple this morning thinking Yeeeaah, that would be sooo cool!

music I need a producer! headlp

Yep, I'm digging it. I know I've heard this one before. I like the bold guitar licks in it, though. Nice! Of course your voice sounds as smooth and sexy as ever!

Nice, real nice! Middle eastern vibe, very tribal, underground industrial kind of slow jam. Keep working on it. Just ur vocals need 2 be turned up jus a pinch more..or add some echo 2 it.
Otherwise, i was hoping 2 hear something from u soon, its about time!

Taureau! Thanks for the droolidge. hug

Artist08 sexy We WILL work on something, somehow, someday.

Izak, lol, I'm a perfectionist, AND I work really slow. redface Yeah, I'm gonna make this longer, add a tad of effects on the vocal and turn it up like you said. I think if I thin out the parts and repeat some after the "chant" part I can make this into a 3 or 4 minute song. My mind is running with ideas.

Very Cool Vina & Jem. I think these collaborations should have a NFO album by itself, hearing 2 different styles together is really cool.

Maybe becaue I'm a guitarist but the mix sounds like the guitar is in the background. Which is alright but it would be cool to hear it a little more "in your face" on the break downs. twocents

Thanks for sharing this

I TRIED! Hey, I guess I could turn a few parts up, I just didn't want to drown out my keyboard parts. I worked HARD on that shit! LOL, but I guess when I repeat the sections for the second half of the song (WITHOUT guitar) they will get their glory.

headlp I'm surrounded by guitarists! Where my keyboard peeps at?

Well I had my track already, I posted it before and he liked it and wanted to put some guitar on it. I hadn't thought of guitar on this one, but since I like his work I was curious what he could do. I sent him the full mp3, he loaded the file into his software and played guitar on seperate tracks, then mixed it down and sent me a rough mix.
I loved it and asked him for a wave file of his guitar part so I could paste it into MY software and mix it in. He sent me an mp3 of just his guitar part and I pasted it in so it would fit in time with my tracks. I played with the volume on it a bit, louder when I wasn't singing and more in the background when I was... I turned it WAY up at the end because he had it fading out and I really love the last few notes with the stereo delay.

Vina & Jem!

I love the combination! The guitar "fleshes" the rest of the piece out without taking away from it! Its just a great collabo!

U know that distorted flanger feedbackdelay effect.
