Updated: My first stab at Apple's "GarageBand"

Now this is a nice toy. I can see using this for fun. I just got a bunch of upgrades for my MAC and in the new "iLife" package, there is a program called "GarageBand".

Read all about it here: http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/

Here's my little diddy
I'll have to sit down and mess with this program some more soon.

shocked You know, I think this is the first track I've ever heard from you. And why don't you do this more often?

Thanks.

I suppose I'm just waiting to have a few more things in place. I'm very secretive of my work until it's ready.

I dunno why. Just always been that way. I tend to post more of my "doodles" than anything else.

Look out though, I'm gearing up for some big things soon.

Me too. I'm going to start with a couple of covers.

Piano lesson went great.

I'll check this out this weekend along with everyone else's stuff I've been missing.

Nice diddy. wink (There's a joke involving the letter P in there somewhere but i'm still too brain dead to come up with it dead)

Did that piece exclusively use sounds available from within the Garageband environment?

Yes it did.
There are a lot of cool sounds in this. I was pretty impressed for a "canned" application.

It reminds me of Acid. How much of this is played and how much is loops? Groovy sounds... I like the vibraphone, or is that marimba?

You have the choice to use loops or input instruments. You also have the option for some loops to open an interface and change the notes/pattern/tempo/key/etc...
