 I love ya, Deja, but for a Monday night I'm not surprised. Folks have to get up early in the morning. Heck, I was contemplating going and leaving after the movie but decided I better just stay at home and get a good night's sleep. I'm not as young as I used to be! Sounds like a fun night, though! |

Last nite was a blast! I can't wait for the BIG partay in June! I just hope they don't have all the damn tables so WE CAN DANCE!!

i had a blast too! it was fun seein PR on the screen right there in 1st ave....
i kept thinking how awesome it would have been to be in the real audience for the taping of the movie  to use dansas words....HOLY FLAMIN HOHNERS!!

The entire night was a BLAST!
Thanx to EVERYONE @ First Ave and a BIG thanx to the Dj's! The folx from Sony were Ultra-Cool too! So kind and gracious! I had a FANTASTIC TIME! Waiting patiently till June!

other than that--it was nice seein folks again. it was really surreal cuz they were showin first ave. '83 on the big screen after the movie was finished...i was like "ooh!" and folks were cheerin everytime first ave. was on the screen durin pr...and of course, there were guys hootin n'shit when apollonia showed her tits.  nobody gave p's close-up ass shot any love....'cept me.
oh yeah--and i got to meet hiienkelte tonight! i met a new orger, yay!!! it was nice talkin to ya, i was laughin at you and that lady...what was she sayin about michael jackson?
my final words: they played "sexy dancer" for me.  thank ya'll.purple rain never seemed a tight as it did that night!! musicology sounded really good played in that public setting! and i got to meet a couple of orgers! a shout out the handclapsfingasnapz and endorphin74! it was good to meet both of you
handclaps, that girl at the end of the night was trying to tell me some crap about prince needing God, about how all the music and dancing he was doin is 'of the devil.' here's some burned out chick (looked about 50) saying she never saw purple rain before, wanders in here tonight to give the 'newly found' prince a chance, and then starts runnin at the mouth like she knows somethin! she was comparing him to michael jackson- and even in 1983, i woulda popped somebody in the mug for that sort of idiocy and insolence. she was saying he was a devilish and perverted, sick and twisted- talkin about gettin saved, and all that mularkey.
