Perspective Records

What happening with Perspective Records, is it still producing records and new acts?

I think Perspective Records shut down many years ago.Around 2000 or so,Jam and Lewis were planning a new record label,FlyteTyme Records,to be distributed by Arista.Unfortunately,the deal fell through.

Perspective shut down in late 1999 when they refused to be a part of the Universal take over. Perspective was a part of the PGD ( Polygram group dist) Umbrella. as was ( Motown,Def Jam,Island,Mercury,Atlas,). with that in mind Perspective got out of the take over and closed its daily operations.
