Prince musical portrait

There´s more from it or this portrait in its full lenght is that one from NPGMC? I like that very much and i would like to see the rest. Miles Davis is very strange.

Yes, he does come across as strange.

It's also worth bearing in mind that the he had previously experienced terrible health problems (both mentally and physically) which forced him to 'retire' before he returned to performance in the '80's.

Yes - there is more, but Prince has the rights, Al Magnoli filmed the entire Lovesexy tour up until the Japan leg - on and offstage - the results would have been stunning. The idea was 2 release a film-length documentary. The result was a 15 minute hevaily edited promo video instead. Such a shame really. Yet another missed opportunity. But yes, the footage still exists - not that we'll ever get 2 see it! U would think that NPGMC would open up those (supposedly) fantastic vaults and show stuff like that.... but nooooo.. why do that when u can show peeps stuff they've seen before? rolleyes

I think that Miles was trying to say that white folks hear classical/orchestral music in their heads whilst making love whilst Prince grinds along with the funk in his head! lol

I always interpreted it to mean that thinks the same way as a classical composer, just that his field happens to be rock/pop music instead.

This is the piece from which Miles also praises Prince's drumming with Miles noting "he can play the shit outta drums." What is it with Miles, drums, and shit? lol
