Chasing

Yup, I do - awesome showcasing some the rarest 1999 cuts and a stinging, How Come U Don't Call me... quality very average in comparison to more recent DVD's available, but hell, still well worth it!!! lol

I just had the (ahem) 'pleasure' of sitting through the LA 28th March 1983 show, and had to skip through their set. She's so off-key it isn't even funny. Brenda shoulda stuffed her panties in her mouth to shut her up.
Horrendous.....nice ass though razz

BTW - the DVD being sold on eBay and in some European stores (apparently legitimately) only has The Revolution's set. If you want Vanity 6 and The Time's set, you need to track down the original fan made DVDr or Ladybird's recent (last year) release.

Vanity 6 just couldn't get it right live, I've often wondered if Prince woulda went the Rick James route and hired some ladies who could actually sing what they woulda turned out to be.

yeah, that's why my brain draws a blank when i watch their performance...why couldn't the whole girl group thing be like, more simple: you got mary jane girls in my vanity 6!

It seems like he just picked the wrong lady. She was freakin hot and I bet the side benefits were worth it, until the movie. That 1999 era Rolling Stone cover with him and Vanity was this 15 year old's my coolest couple emulate.

I'm a little bummed that my euro CD doesn't have this set. Triple threat.

Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

a lotta people have been stuck with that particular version of the show. for the life of me i still don't understand why whoever repackaged this show got rid of the time & vanity 6's performances. couldn't they just have, ya know, kept it all? it ain't like folks can't fast forward through it if they want. neutral
