Ummm. The Batman SDTK Special CD...

eye was at Let It Be Records downtown and saw the special edition of the Batman CD.
It was in a black case, costed $12.00 and the booklet was similar to Crystal Ball's packagin'...

But the end of the booklet featured a cool picture with him sitting down in a chair looking very secretive with a purple or black table in front of him...

Does any1 have this? Is it on the gallery at all?

The BatCan disc has inferior sound to the jewel case version. So keep your disc from the jewel box for playin'. Also, many of the BatCan tins have a slight dent in the metal. These are cut-outs, and were sold for about $5 when they were withdrawn.
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Hmm.. I dunno about the money spenind on just the Soundtrack that I already have and just a rare photo. $12.00 though..maybe I should. It was withdrawn???

I have never seen it or heard of it until today...I was really surprised.

Thank you guys for the photos, that's the exact one...features a REAL booklet with clips from the movie. I believe there are 3 Prince pictures all 2gether.

I love the Batman soundtrack. Call me crazy, but I think it's some of Prince's best works. Especially Electric Chair and Party Man. Love when Prince brings the funk. I picked up a record two weeks about that had two different versions of Batdance, and I love the Vicki Vale version, because of those funky guitar chords he plays over and over.
Anyways, I have a question about the Batman soundtrack. The song 200 Balloons. YOu hear a snippet of it at the end of the Batdance, and I don't remember it being in the movie but it sounds like another song he wrote for the Joker. How come it's not on the soundtrack?

200 Balloons ended up as a b-side on the Batdance CD single.
