That House Was STUNNING.... Beautiful Color, Beautiful Pond, Beautiful Landscaping ..Gorgeous ATMOSPHERE and a CUTE WINDMILL. He Probably Wanted to Build a NEW ONe or Different Location or Just STAYING in LA. HE HAs MAGNIFICANT TASTE. I NEVER have SEEN his HOUSEs BEFORE.

I will always have the memory of flying over this house in a little 4 person airplane and Amy getting sick next to me right over his house . It was after he had painted it brown though.

That picture fails to show the pool and tennis courts. YES! I said tennis courts. Eskomokisses has the archive of all of those pictures.

I see the pool,my mistake. But there are really tennis courts and the windmill blew down in a storm. He had that sent all the way from Holland,where he has a special spot in his heart.

I'll be a little bummed if he moves from MN permanently...being from Iowa originally I always thought it was great that he stayed in the Midwest even though he could live anywhere he wanted.
Plus there was that comment he made during the Oprah interview about how he'll always live in Minneapolis because the cold weather in Minneapolis keeps the bad people out. (I know, I know, he says a lot of things that end up changing...)

Yeah...I grew up on a farm in the house my grandfather lived in as a child. Everyone else in my family still lives within 40 minutes of where they grew up. But it's not for me--I always knew I would leave. It's too homogenous there + I am into contemporary art and the museums in Iowa are more into "regional" art.

The richest 1 percent in America earn 67% of all income and pay 34% of all taxes and the top half of wage earners earn 99.85% of all income and pay 96% of the taxes. So perhaps those of us who aren't in the top half should thank the rich for paying our share of taxes for us instead of bashing them.

I didn't bother looking up the true numbers because I'm not the one trying to make a statement about our tax system - however you are so perhaps you should.
