The outtakes Machine and Hey lover

1976:
1. Don't You Wanna Ride? - Studio Nights
2. Leaving for New York - Studio Nights/The Work 1
3. Machine
4. Nightingale - Studio Nights
5. Rock Me, Lover - Studio Nights
6. Spending My Time - Studio Nights
7. Sweet Thing - Studio Nights
8. Wouldn't You Love 2 Love Me - Studio Nights/Cosmos/The Work 1
9. Since We've Been Together
10. I Spend My Time Loving You
11. Lady Pleasure
12. Surprise
13. You´re Such A Fox
14. Love Is Forever
15. Diamond Eyes
16. Hey Lover
17. Whenever

Has anyone heard the two outtakes from this list called machine and hey lover? I know that machine was on the demo he used to get his record deal in 1977. This is the story I saw on the net one time, about hey lover.
They said that Soft and wet at first didn't have the line Hey lover! in the verses and that when he went to record for you, he made an outtake of hey lover, but mixed it into soft and wet. Is this true? I have heard two older versions of soft and wet and neither of them say hey lover.

Hey Lover is a 41 second 'song' and sounds nothing like Soft And Wet

From the rest you mentioned i only heard 1,2,7,8

Where did you get those other titles from ?
I have all his studio outtakes starting from 76

The ones without a bootleg title are uncirculating.

Well, yeah, otherwise they wouldn't be on the bootleg would they razz

Circulating = Widely available, on bootlegs/through trading (and these days on p2p)

Uncirculating = Not available on bootleg/through trading, but a few high-up collectors may have them for private use (which we wouldn't know unless they told us) - To all intents and purposes, uncirculating.

(echo..... echo.....).....

It's not circulating! So unless there's someone who has it privately, and they decide to describe it (unlikely, because then they'll be getting org notes left right and center from newbies begging for it), then your plea will fall on deaf ears.

Here's what The Vault says about Machine:

This is one of six songs recorded by Grand Central Corporation at the ASI studio in Minneapolis in early 1976. The song has a strong sexual content, comparing a woman to a machine in graphic detail.

Well, how did this guy know what Hey Lover sounds like? Anyway did they say if machine was rock or funk?

The quote from the book was the entire comment on that track.
