There was actually a piece about this on the news in Mpls a few days ago. They said he was putting in these tickets and if you got a ticket, you would get to see a special concert at "Prince's Paisley Park home." So, let the speculation begin!

* They don't realize that Prince doesn't live at Paisley Park and the concert will actually be at his "home" in LA where the 3121 parties have been?
* The concert will actually be at Paisley? And if this is the case...then it's likely a bigger concert in the soundstage area? And if this is the case...perhaps it's a last warm-up gig before he goes on tour. And if this is the case - perhaps it would be the time of year for a CELEBRATION???? One can hope anyway.

In the event of any cancellation of Event, no additional prize will be awarded, except at sole discretion of Sponsor. Releasees are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. All taxes/fees and expenses in conjunction with air tickets are the responsibility of the winner, including all necessary government documentation. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to offer winner a $2,000 cash equivalent prize at its sole discretion .
The total value of all prizes to be awarded in this Sweepstakes is approximately $8,000. Odds of winning a prize are determined by the total number of eligible entries received for the Sweepstakes and are equal regardless of method of entry.

There are only 4 tickets, that's $8000 they're spending on this promotion But the cost of transporting someone from anywhere in the world could be astronomical, and vary hugely. That's why I think they are limiting it to US residents.

I think it would have been better to have a ticket which gave you a free good seat to be redeemed if and when Prince toured near you - with a life-span of 10 years or so, so Australians and such actually stood a chance of using it!
