The keyboard strings at the end of GlamSlam

The very beginning of the dramatic keyboard solo starts with a note pattern that seems to be reminicent of the theme music to Franco Zeffirelli's "Jesus of Nazareth"

how appropriate for what follows next!

Yeah. And what do you make of those tasty neo-classical bits from the 'intermission' music from the 'Lovesexy' shows, huh?

Now that you mention it, I can notice a similarity . . .

"Jesus of Nazareth" is one of my favorite movies, but only when I can set aside about 6 hours to watch it!! eek

peace

I always consider the beginning of Annastesia to be at 15:43 The tracked version of Lovesexy has the beginning of Annastesia at 16:32.

I'm totally blown away by this part 16:06 - 16:28. That is some absolutely amazing finger ability!!! Yeah, the whole synth duel at the end of Glam Slam is incredible. It's a fierce example of WHY Lovesexy is my favorite Prince album.

It's refreshing to hear something like that because my wife whom is a huge P fan like me, really hates the song Glam Slam & I happen to dig it.

good god! is there any phrase better designed to put a smile on my face than

"the keyboard strings at the end of Glam Slam" ??

"the wild synth strings solo during Glam Slam"!!

-"heavy feather, flicka nipple, baby scram and water ripple"
