Dude Prince, colud never do as full on Rock album as good as anything by Hendrix. P mostly adds too much funk, synth etc which ends up watering down what could be a great rock track. He makes great Funk rock but no way , on record at least does he make good hard rock.

You say it like it was a bad thing neutral
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

'Rainbow Children' is kind of Prince's 'Electric Ladyland' to me, where he shows all his abilities almost to the full while moving forward with his sound and music (if not necessarily lyrics! wink )

People, People, People....please....damn. The closest P has come and (dig this) will WANT to come to Hendrix, P has ALREADY done. P isn't going to pay a bigger tribute to Hendrix than Purple Rain. He's like "been there,....done that." He'll, I imagine, always infuse Hendrix into his shit, here and there. Like he's always done. But a full blown Hendrix type album....as far as concept, theme, wardrobe, vision, spirit,...he gave ya'll Purple Rain.

damn, i was just wonderin what songs of his that feature him rockin out on guitar would be an "electric ladyland" of today.... Purple Rain comes close, but 4 a lot of people who were just findin out about him that year that would be more like an "axis" or are you experienced?".... his "ladyland" 4 me would be between "gold experience" and "chaos & disorder", 'cause no matter what all u finicky listeners say, he really hasn't rocked that hard on an album since that time period....
