why Prince do not dance anymore? Is it just me or every since the rumor of him getting a hip replacement, I have notice that Prince no longer dance at his shows anymore or spin and jump up on pianos.

But shhhh...don't tell anyone. JB danced until he was 73yrs old. Yeah, but in a way that made you wish he had hired a pair of delicious 20-year-old twins. Talkin' Black but livin' all the Negro I can.

Because he's pushing 50. Time is playing its trick on him, I guess.

I think the twins are an extention of Prince. They dance. He definitly isn't dancing the way he once did (splits, etc.) He isn't just standing there, but he isn't just going crazy like he once did, which is fine. I think it still works. But the twins are intentionally there to provide that action many of us got us to with the old school Prince. He had that hip trouble and stuff, maybe that has something to do with it.

It makes me wonder if the hip replacement rumors are true. Oh well, it doesn't matter to me either way, I like Prince for the music and always have. All that dancing is secondary and thank God Prince wasn't too overboard with it like all these other entertainers these days. Since they don't have a damn lick of musical talent and can't play an instrument whatsoever, they need a stage full of choreographed dancers so the stage won't look so empty. I prefer an actual concert over a damn Broadway production any day.

plus he never really danced that much earlier in his career. He sure didn't and it was great. He danced but it wasn't staged. He just basically danced however he was feeling the music at that particular moment.

He also walks with a limp. that he masks mostly very well. It was even referred to as "his own unique walk" in an article on the Musicology tour in Dallas. I read somewhere that he fell once off the stage when he was doing a crowd dive or something and they didn't catch him. Whatever the case, he deals with it very well. Oh, and at the Tower Records gig last year, his limp was very noticable in close.

Dude that's Prince's pimp walk and he's been doing it forever. It's part of his schtick. "I'VE GOT A MIND FULL OF GOOD INTENTIONS

For at least the last three years he's had a "limp" to his "pimp". I'm telling you, he's walking differently. It's all good, though. Hey, he's getting around just fine.

Anyways, point is--Prince still dances. Just not at the Superbowl. You know what they say about arguing on the internet… It’s a lot like running a race in the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you’re still retarded.
