US Weekly picks up on Paris Hilton incident from last weekend @ 3121 U heard it 1st.

Well, as I thought, someone would pick up on the Paris Hilton incident at 3121 over the weekend. This time, it was US Weekly, adding false information 2 the news provided by Chris G and reported by me.

Here is what I sent out early Saturday morning;

Prince tried to get Paris to sing to see if she could really sing
but she would not sing it. Shelby even tried to put the mic n
Paris's face but she would not do it.

Now, keep in mind, Paris came on stage uninvited. 2 of her friends were pulled up. NOT her.

Here is now what is being reported by US Weekly;

Did Prince mock Paris Hilton's singing ability?

By Jeannette Walls

Updated: 12:07 a.m. PT April 26, 2007
Did Prince dis Paris?

The artist sometimes known as Symbol Man publicly humiliated the partying heiress and her singing ability, according to the new issue of Us.

Paris Hilton was in the audience as Prince performed at Club 3121 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas’s Club 3121 on April 20. At one point, Prince invited the “Stars Are Blind” crooner to join him onstage.

A “delighted” Hilton scampered onto the stage and the “Purple Rain” singer handed the wanna-be-pop star the microphone and told the audience, “Let’s see if she can really sing,” a source told the mag.

An angry and humiliated Hilton stormed offstage — and left the club two songs later, reports Us.

Hilton’s rep insists that the story is untrue, and Prince’s spokesman had no comment.

(Give me credit dammit. On celeb stuff that happened at 3121 I did not report, NEVER made it anywhere. Each story that I have reported, has either ended up on a blog, on fox news, or now US Weekly. I am not trying 2 blow my own horn but this is lame.-j7)

So let me get this straight, everyone but Prince for some reason can hate on Paris as much as they want?

The woman is pointless and untalented and I wouldn't care if he did or didn't say that to her but since when isn't Prince allowed to say anything? Grr..

All articles about her are bad but suddenly they decide to make her sound all innocent?

I also don't know why they bother printing the story only to say at the end "Hilton's rep says it's completely untrue".

Didn't Paris claim to be a singer and actor. And if so, what did she sang and where or in what movie did she do any acting. confused My thing is, don't put yourself out there like that and then step up and then can't produce.

I feel your pain.....that's just wrong. I guess they think anything on a public website is their story to steal.

Here's some love jseven! hug

Paris Hilton is vile, as is the twist on what actually happened.

What happened- Paris' friends were invited onstage. Paris invited herself. Prince teased, "Let's see if she can really sing." She would not.

How US Weekly twisted it- Paris was invited onstage and she happily accepted. Prince teased, "Let's see if she can really sing." She would not, felt angry and humiliated, stormed off-stage and left 2 songs later.

Can anyone say "embellishment?" I know ya can...

Would any of us really bash Prince for teasing Paris as to whether or not she can sing? falloff If she was bold enough to invite herself on stage...Prince's stage make no mistake...I think she got off pretty lightly.

falloff

And talk about free publicity! LOVE IT!!!

Honestly...if I didn't already love Prince, I'd love him now.

That's the tabloid media for ya -- Storm in a tea-cup.

Kinda off topiic: The writer calls her a 'crooner', which is totally the wrong word. Usually a crooner would be an old-timer, often they'd say people like Tom Jones or Frank Sinitra even are crooners. In this instance, Prince is more qualified as a crooner. lol

Paris Hilton hits on Prince
Paris Hilton toasted singer Prince in a London club this week, delighting Prince so much that he snuck out the back of the club. Hilton was reportedly drinking absinthe at Kaberet Prophecy when she got into the DJ box and announced to the crowd, “I'm celebrating my birthday and Prince is in the house, so I want to play his new single because he's hot,” according to the Sun newspaper. Prince, hiding under a hood, quickly headed for the exit, but Hilton danced on the table tops until 3:30 a.m.

The proper end to this story has cops raiding the club, busting Paris for drugs, and sticking her in a women's prison where the inmates take turns making her their toilet monkey. Alas. But bravo to Prince there. He managed to escape before Paris's tractor-beam vagina pulled him in. From what I understand it's much like the Death Star. Except the wookies aren't so friendly.

Looks like Prince has got a stalker, sorry, admirer. lol

This did happen but she did not leave the club after it happened. She seemed 2 just be embarrassed but not upset. She has been there b4.

She was photograghed a few hours later at TAO with K-Fed.

What stinks is that the comments on various sites are half half. Some are supporting him others are saying he's a hasbeen and what right does he have, which is agitating.

And the way this article paints Prince as a "baddy" and Paris as the lil innocent cute thing "scampering" up there annoys the hell outta me. neutral

What's with all the Paris hate? She's not even a singer...at least one that anyone takes seriously. And it's not like she challenged him or taunted him like JT. She's only Paris Hilton. It would be so wrong for someone like Prince to put her in her place, especially since she hasn't slighted him and because she appears to be a fan. I doubt he did that out of malice. He probably thought she would sing.

& why are so many so pleased at the thought of Prince being the ambassador of Paris hate? I thought most would wish him on a higher plane.

It's his [his people's] job to clean that up. Otherwise the press will run with it, and since Paris doesn't seem to be doing anything these days, she may ride the sympathy wave.
