Remember that 3/4-scale T-Bird that was used on the Lovesexy tour? It ended up on display at the Uptown NPG store. The roof was chopped off and it was sunken into the floor. I wonder who has all of these items when Prince loses interest. Back in the day, after Purple rain was done filming, I used to see Morris Day's yellow caddy film car a lot. Prince has a huge underground garage under Paisley where all of his vehicles are stored except for his favorite couple he's using at the time. Around Mpls he almost always drives himself and yes he pumps his own gas (if he has to) Prince has quite the lead foot too. | |
