Love her or hate her, Oprah got the best televised interview ever out of Prince. Ten years later, people still talk about it and all the stuff Prince revealed and didn't (the female living inside him, the birth of his child, his relationship with Mayte). I hope he goes on again to promote Planet Earth; she seems able to turn an interview with him into a more exciting experience than most other interviewers.

As I made up a tread not to long ago. I would much rather see him on Tyra.
Tyra's audience attracts younger viewers. Plus she's the new Oprah now.

Oh Please! The new Oprah?? - you're kidding right?

I dont believe he'd go on Oprah anytime soon.. she's one of those interviewers who gets right to the point of ppl's personal lives, asking questions (tell me about your second marriage?) we all wanna know about and what happened.. he's not ready to share that ..

I dont think being on Tyra, or any other show will help him be any more famous than he is now. I think most of us realize that. Music has changed and his peak is long gone. Doesnt mean he isnt great, but appealing to a younger crowd wont make it 1984 all over again.

Maybe so, but I highly disagree. She's always got a holier-than-thou attitude; if somebody tries to stand up for themselves and they're saying things she doesn't like, she interrupts them and doesn't let them speak; and she always changes the angle of conversations so the focus is on her--"Well, in MY experience...." or "I know for ME....." I'll watch every now and then because, like I said, she's got interesting topics, but I really wish it was someone else hosting.

"fat cow" damn you must be kidding me! She gained weight after retiring from modeling, but in no way is she a fat cow! What a sad society this is that views Tyra a fat cow. sad

Prince NEEDS to go on Oprah without any question. Oprah sells albums. Every artist who goes on Oprah seems to always see a major jump in album sales. Prince could go on the show after he's done with the London shows. He could be Oprah's big Season Premier guest. That would be off the charts and Prince would be on the charts big time with that one apperance.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Uh, I think he was talking about Oprah, not Tyra. Still kinda mean to call her a fat cow, though.

^LOL yeah, she can be really fake. I enjoyed the interview she did with him. I think a new one could help promote the new record but, what would she ask him? I rather see him do a more relaxed interview with some like Ellen, or someone whos actually into his music.

Yeah, Ellen is def cool peoples. I could see him doing a one-on-one hour long with her.

But after that "Bambi" stunt he pulled in there,,,I doubt it lol

I liked the Ellen interview... I think Oprah tries too much to pry into people's lives, while Ellen keeps it light. What do you mean by "Bambi stunt"? I've only seen a few clips from the Oprah interview.

I know, but seriously was it anybody's business about the baby. They wanted to grieve without hearing about it. They were both pretty much in shock when the whole thing happened. They didn't know the baby was going to have problems until it was born.

Prince and Mayte were both informed that they're son was not developing normally by her doctor but Prince chose to have Mayte do as he pleased during her pregnancy, you should read the many books written about him. I think Oprah respects him and enjoys his music but I don't think she wants Prince on her show again. confused

I don't think that's true... Janet lied to Oprah about her marriage and she's been back on twice... I think Oprah understand why celebrities lie about personal issues... Plus she Oprah was getting down in the front row when Prince performed on the NAACP when they both was honored the same night

I knew somebody would debate this. No I'm not kidding. I'm not comparing her as far as the billionare part. I was comparing Oprah to Tyra as the guest she's pulling on her show and the topics she touches on her show. When Tyra first started out I did not expect her show to be the success it is and I didn't expect her to get the famous guest on her show that she has. I expected her show to be cancelled like Ananda Lewis' who I might add people was trying to make her the next Oprah before her show even came out and I thought that was a lie. Proves I was right cuz it didn't last.

Hello! Like Oprah don't have an hollier than thou attitude. Maybe that's why she's not to thrilled about her father releasing this tell-all book because we will probably find out just how hollier than thou she really is besides the past we already know.

I disagree. I pray Prince never does another interview with Oprah.

If Prince wants to tell us some thing, let it come from his music or a book he penned his self.
God doesn't just tells me how much he "LOVE's" me, God shows me how much he "LOVE's" me. Both telling and showing "LOVE" means to "LOVE". They go hand in hand. You can't have one with out the other. Something is spoken, then followed by an action. That is
