MY FIRST POST!! - FINALLY!!! READ ON......... Hello from Scotland all.
Right - I've finally mustered the energy together to post something on here!!. As a fan of 20 years.....here's some early memories off the top of my head.... Listening to my brother play Purple Rain album over and over and hating it.....2 months later, buying POP LIFE and becoming an instant Fan!!!.....wearing a girl at schools father's paisley park pyjamis to school and getting sent home.....getting 13 perms and shaving my hair 'on one side'...getting most of my friends into the wee man at last!!! ( after getting slagged off for ages ) .....stealilng the cassette cover from Parade from a shop.....wondering what anotherloverholenyohead was all about!!!.....stealing the 6ft tall cardboad cut out from the cinema foyer after oing to see under the cherry moon whilst the whole street cheered me on!!!.....queing up all night to get tickets for Sign o the times tour in London ( only to be cancelled ) .....going to see him for the first time in Glasgow - 1992, drinking with Tommy B, Sonny T , Rosie Gaines etc etc after the show in Glasgow!!! ( all very nice ) .....( the wee man didn't show!! ) .....to be continued..... | |
