Metheny, Maiden, Isley, Summers,Duke, and Satriani, accents/phrasing all there, and incorporated into P's mix. The track pushes all the right buttons for me. PE is simply "righteous"!

And I'm glad people from all over the world have come to that conclusion. I have not, and I really don't care one way or the other, but I love that others are trying to hard to make me hear it. I have to continue to agree with you. I knew the song but had not heard it in along time so I listened again and I just dont hear it...I'm gonna listen again this weekend with this many people hearing it obviously its gotta be similar!
