Xenophobia kicks ass live

Hope he plays this song on the European tour. I wasn't at all excited over the little clip P had on his website but the live rendition of it at the ONA concert in LA was simply ass kicken!

Yeah when it first started playing I wasn't the least bit excited to hear it and by the time it was over I was acting like a fool.

I am looking at the Euro setlist & glad we got to hear "Empty Room" & "Whole Lotta Love" at the cele.

But I still think, the set list was stronger in the U.S.
I like newer matierial performed.

The MUSIC CLUB helped this out TREMENDOUSLY. Cuz he now relizes he has more fans then he himself relized. Prince did not fully understand til the Music Club, that he may not get played on MTV or the radio, but people will come to see him, even if he is doing new material n less hits. Those people are in the minority that will pay 150 to see Prince.

This marks the first time in a long time he started something in the U.S. n by the time it hit the U.K. it was slighty different.

Usually it is him touring overseas first & by the time it hits the states, he wants to do another tour or doesn;t wanna tour. Case in point with SOTT, Nude, D & P, & Gold.

Act 1 was one of the tours that was in the U.S. n was changed for the better by the it hit there.

I do not count Jam of The Year cuz the lack of new material played from 97-01.

Prince rocks & it seems the U.K. fans are eatign it up.

I even heard one of them say "Prince doesn't suck as much anymore." Which I heard translates into "This is the best tour since Lovesexy!" wink

Xenophobia is such a great song. He tore it up at the celebration twice. If he doesn't release the full album (I think that he will), he had better never utter another single word about bootleggers.

Prince, we need this album. Or it's "put a microphone up your ass and roll those tapes boys."
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Xenophobia definitely kicks ass live!

It's got such a strong groove, I had
the horn riff rattling around my head
for ages after seeing it live. It
wouldn't seem out of place on a new
Madhouse album, though it is a lot
more fluid than most previous
Madhouse tracks. I really hope he
releases the Xenophobia album. Out
of the 4 NPGMC albums mentioned in
the ONA tour programme, this was
the one I was looking forward to
the most.
