I'm 42 and first got into Prince in 1986. Saw him for the first time in 1988 21 years ago. Oh I feel old now! My daughter is 5 and I took her to see Prince at the 02 in London recently and now she's a fan. I can't play anything in the car other than Prince - she simply won't allow it! | |

No you are not old! You're lucky, I would love to go to a live Prince concert. I have a little girl too. She is four. She likes Prince too. Believe it or not I've watched Purple Rain so much that she knows the words to most of the songs. Don't worry I always skip over the Prince and Appolonia love scene whenever my daughter is around when I watch the movie. Kinda racy!lol. Nothing wrong with putting the kids on to good music. Half this other music that comes out lately from other artists is a bunch of garbage. Nothing like the classics.  Life Is What You Make It... | |

Believe it or not I've watched Purple Rain so much that she knows the words to most of the songs. I really want to take my little boy, who's 4 (and a half!) to see Prince (in Paris hopefully). He's crazy about him, and knows all the words to Purple Rain too (I do the same - skip the dvd  ). He also plays the RUTJF dvd CONSTANTLY and of course I have to stop and watch it too  Don't get much work done!! I've been a fan since 17 and for nearly 23 years - Yikes!
