Do u think That PRINCE AND THE REVOLUTION WILL EVER REUNITE 4 A TOUR?

If it doesn't happen on its 25th anniversary, then it might happen with wendy and lisa making guest appearances every now and again. A full fledged reunion would be very cool 2 see one last time. What do u think about this?

I saw Bobby Z last year at Fist Ave. He took a picture with Muse2nopharoah

All I can say is that in about 4 years time, the entire Revolution, including Prince will look like they're having an Oakridge Boys reunion.

I think it's probable that some of them will play the odd gig with him now and then (as they all have at some point this decade), but I doubt they will ever tour together as a functioning unit. But to be honest, I don't think I would want to see it anyway. I like the way Prince always has new musicians with him.

A one time, special small club gig for the fans?..That would be fun.

A new CD, new songs and a full fledged reunion tour?..No.

I don't think it's going to happen but if it did it would be a very big deal. People who say otherwise could not have been around during the Revolution era.

I can see myself 98 years old and chatting on the org with cane and walker in hand plus going to tribute concerts cause that guy name Prince will be long gone and will have to sit next to the speakers just to hear the dam music because my hearing aid died

To be honest with you LinnLM1, sometimes people can't go back home. The energy, vibe, and power that they had from 84 to 86 I don't think can be duplicated today. To me that band was real special.

Now if P could put together a new project with Wendy, Lisa, Shelia, Kat Dyson and Rhonda, that would be pretty slammin'.

No, I don't think it will happen.

I am not sure what purpose it would serve.

The Revolution was a nice concept for the Purple Rain movie, but I found I preferred the songs that Prince did without the band at the time.

Parade is probaly the best music that group of people created and I was glad when they disbanded. I was ready for a regular Prince album by the time Sign of the Times came out anyway.

If Prince wants it to happen then it will.

Who knows?

banished one you're saying "they shouldn't be a nostalgic act" but you listed
all those old songs for them to play. Again if it was a one time thing, then cool. Like Miles, I've always respected P for moving foward with his musicians.

A reunion would have been exciting if it had happened sometime in the 90s.I think too much time has passed. The 80s revival is just about over lol They missed their golden opportunity.

That is funny Wendy has performed with him in the past year - 2 years on stage with him and hasnt bothered him neutral Actually he requested her to play with him on several occations neutral PLUS he performed at the Brit Awards with Wendy and Lisa neutral And he was a JW WHILE he performed with them neutral From what I read awhile back Wendy is also jewish(her father is at least) neutral

care to explain?

Edited to add he even knew W&L was lesbians WHILE on Parade tour, prolly while on PR tour ( rumour has it), and yet he STILL performed with them neutral PLUS he wanted their help on the PE album.

Prince changes his mind about ALOT of things.Prince beleives what he wants to beleive.IMHO your JW statement is cooked
