Are Prince fans crazy?

Haven't each of us questioned the sanity of some the posters on this site? I know I have. I trip every time someone goes off on a tangent totally unrelated to the topic at hand. Sometimes there seems to be a severe disconnect on the perceptions posters take from the same simple sentence.

Maybe thats why there is such broad reaction to Prince. I quess it should be expected really. We are black, white, asian from different countries. We are of different ages. Eighteen year olds talking to 40 year olds. We are gay and straight. And male and female.

Really why should we agree on anything?

Our only commonality is our regard for Prince (and that varies) and our humanity. This site and the interent in general allows us to have these group disussions that humans have never had before in history. We should exalt in that and try are best to learn from each other instead of bash each other.

How true If only we could all learn from each other, instead of beating each other up.

I agree with you on that, even though if someone comes at me sideways, they'll get it back. As for the question asked about Prince fans being crazy, there are crazy fans in Purple World. Crazy in the positive way, "Prince can't do no wrong" and crazy in the negative, "Everything Prince does now is shit". I wish we could agree to disagree more than we do. There's too many "My way or the highway" kind of attitudes. People thinking that their opinions are facts. Those are the crazy fans to me too.

We are going to have all those fans here whether we like it or not but as long as no one is being disrespectful in here, then I will deal with it. I may not agree with a point but I won't call you a derogatory names or even a Kool-Aid Kid. It's all about Prince and his music and if we keep site of that here, then we'll be good.

i think it's important for me to point out that just because i try to balance my negativity with positivity doesn't mean i'm any less kookoo for cocoa puffs than anyone else!

No...it´s about the kind of person who is influenced to do or think to...some can control, some not.

the fact that many of us spend a great deal of time wanting 2 discuss whether or not PRINCE wears womyn's clothing suggests that the answer here is an absolute YES.

He got the fan-base he dreamt of back in the early days; white, black, Puerto-Rican, everybody just-a-freakin... and then some...

I have never ever been to a more mixed (in all ways) party than the Prince boat on June 7. I was amazed.

there's something alittle 'strange' about ALL of us Prince fans ...

I love Prince (in a good way... )
and enjoy his music and it is good to find others (from all over the world ) who did the same here. I also learnt a lot about his music from other orgers.
