WAS PRINCE REALLY GOING TO SING ON JANET'S "LOVE WILL NEVER DO?"

I read somewhere that Prince was going to sing the parts on "Love Will Never Do (Without You)" that Janet sings in a deep voice, but it never materialized. That would have been hot! I think they should still collaborate.

I've heard this rumor before,don't know if it's true.

I don't think so. I get the feeling the JJ and TL wanted Prince to have nothing to do with any of janet's work.

P attended Janet's Velvet Rope party in London back in the late 90s, and it makes me wonder if they were looking to collabo back then

She was supposed to sing it with Johnny Gill. I can see why people thought Prince since the music sounds like Kiss a little bit.

I love the song the way it is. A male voice wouldn't have done it for me on that short verse. I like artists who do all the vocals themselves. Much respect!! Even more if they write em too. Gotta be good lyrics though.
