What Album Of Princes Do U Think is Most Over-Rated

In my opinion I just think Lovesexy is a terrible album and i was wondering are there any others out there who agree? (most probably not ) also what do you think is Princes most over-rated work?

P.S Batmans a close second

either I haven't heard it enough times (meaning that I'm missing something) or everyone says it rocks because they can't stand his last 3 albums

3121. it takes a lot of effort and positive thinking for me to be able to say, "yeah, that's an okay pop album". and while i can do that and appreciate it on some modest level, i don't understand when people fawn all over it.

You guys are all bogus and drunk! The most over-rated Prince album of all time is without a doubt Chaos and Disorder. Why do so many people like this album. It's not even a top seller and I can see why. I'm the only one of my friends and colleages who have this cd and wonder why? Because he was P and tha's my boy I bought it without listening to it first. If I can go back, I wouldn't buy it. Til this day, I don't even listen to it. It just collects dust. TERRIBLE! Just HORRIBLE! That is the worst.

We March P Control, TBGW, ugggg, i could only listen to the the extended flutestramental single thing of "eye hate u" the rest is kiddie garbage.

Rainbow Childen, yikes, i cant even begin to imagine what people see in that thing,... old fashioned kiddie fussion jazz?

Rainbow Children hands down.

I like SOTT, but some people think it's his best and I highly disagree.

I think statements like under or over rated are used for frivilous conversation... A piece of work is all that it is. The music gives you what it gives you.

I remember learning in a poetry class, that a certain poem may not strike the same chord in me as it strikes someone else.

There was a poem about a woman that had lost her mother. A girl in the class was very moved by this poem, however I was not, My mother is still living.

Planet Earth was shit. Guitar was the ONLY good song on that lump of crap. It was such a let own after Musicology and 3121.

Prince may have lost his touch.

I don't like LoveSexy either. It sounds like a big jumbled up mess. Like someone took the entire pallets of paints and threw it all unto a canvas and smeared it around with there hands.

Batman I don't like either. I think it sounds rushed and underworked, like he did it in about 2 days. It could have been good but needed more work. The instrumentation is rough.

I wouldn't call Lovesexy terrible but there are a number of albums that I think are over-rated. Like Around The World In A Day and especially The Rainbow Children. The Rainbow Children in particular seems to be mentioned a lot on the org as a very good album and I disagree. Aside from She Loves Me 4 Me and Family Name this album is not very good, not very bad, but quite forgettable. Everywhere has a great start but then it's totally watered down. And there's too much religion; to appeal to everybody, an album should not be too religious.
