Prince has proven one thing over his career -- that no matter how talented you are, you can't do it on your own. You need intelligent, creative musicians around you who actually contribute to the art. That's why his bands are so stale these days and his music is so lifeless. A lot of the songs he writes now are a direct result of his internet fanbase on forum posts. Just listen to the lyrics of Turn Me Loose! Either that, or Jehovah. Or some wack melody-less love song he pulled from the vault of 1996. I don't think Prince has a creative bone left in his body!
