If you ask me, I think maybe he came in once or twice to check out what was this place, but never really been here.

But... Still it was awesome to think MAYBE in the chat room you were talking to him without knowing.

I did actually chat with him on AOL.. Since hes not here anymore I can admit he had a screename called Coolio9d7 back in 1997

I was told in confidentiality that he indeed had a username (can't recall it now) and would lurk occassionally.

Which if you think about it, and realize how much control he liked to have over anything having to do with himself, it's absurd to think that he DIDN'T check out our crazy posts!

I made a post recommending that Prince work with the bassist MonoNeon. And he eventually did. Now Brownmark also shouted out MonoNeon on twitter, but I would like to think it was because of me.

more often then you'd think, and certainly his team checked here everyday, this was the only place to discuss prince after all (once housequake closed)

Definitely. He came here regularly to pick our brains and laugh at us. That's why my posts were sometimes over the top. Just to keep him coming here. I did the same thing on AOL back in the day. That's when I realized that Prince wasn't too much into being told how great he was, but was more interested in how he could improve his final product. He was always trying to get better.
