For all you Prince fans who are also "Strangers With Candy" fans (and I know you're out there), the Trio cable network will be featuring a weekly film festival series hosted by none other than Jerri Blank herself - Amy Sedaris!

Amy's film fest series started April 24. The specific week in which she'll be hosting Purple Rain hasn't been announced, but it is on the list alongside some other fun screen gems.

Amy Rocks and is so cute and funny when I have seen interviews. SWC is good from what I have seen (the one where she learns to read). Her brother David is probably one of the funniest writers of our time.

Looks like Purple Rain is going to make a big comeback this year. We have a Purple Rain Sing Along (aren't they all?) this July here in SF.

they are presently making the film version of the funniest TV show ever (UCB--close 2nd.)

Strangers With Candy was cancelled as a show, but the Big Screen version has gotten the green light....go figure.

the book, 'Wigfield' is written by the 3 core members of Strangers and is one of the craziest things you will ever read. i keep re-reading it (even though i am far behind my readings, as i have a pile that keeps getting larger) because it is so GD Funny.
